The weather in Tokyo has been unusual: rainy and cloudy. Sakura season has ended so I have time to visit some museums. Last week I saw The mind of Leonardo at Tokyo National Museum. I have already seen many exhibitions, but this was special in some ways... I have been interested in Leonardo da Vinci's art and life as long as I can remember. Security was exceptional: My ticket was checked at the gate, then outside hall in the beginning of exhibition, then I walked through metal detector, which beeped... I had to show my keys and coins and ticket and after that... show my ticket once more :). Now I and many, many other people could see one (1) painting: Annunciation. I could look at it about 4 minutes from distance and maybe 30 seconds at close distance. This was natural, because hundreds of others wanted to see it too. It was a wonderful, but short experience. Then I continued to other building where second part of exhibition was located. I needed to show my ticket once more. Second part concentrated on Leonardo's life, inventions and many other things. All in all, this exhibition was worth waiting for. http://www.leonardo2007.jp/en/
